Trevose, PA, November 30,
2011 – The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI), a provider of fleet accident
and risk management services and direct repair program outsourcing to property
and casualty insurance carriers, announced today the appointment of Vince
Sommer to the position vice president of operations.
In the newly created
position, Mr. Sommer reports to Vincent Brigidi, president and chief operating
officer, with responsibility for fleet operations, loss recovery, insurance
services, network services and quality control.

someone of Vince’s caliber to our senior management team,” said Mr.
Brigidi. “He not only possesses broad industry knowledge and experience,
but brings a unique perspective that will enhance CEI’s ability to deliver for
our current customers and to further build on our success in the coming years.”
Mr. Sommer comes to CEI from
Sears Auto Center, (division of Sears Holdings Corporation) a
provider of automotive maintenance and repair services and parts based
in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, where he was director of
Automotive Services. Prior to that, he spent more than eight years with Wheels,
Inc., a fleet management services company, in Des Plaines, Illinois.
At Wheels he served in a variety of roles, including director of vehicle
maintenance and accident services, senior director of truck operations and
senior director of technical sales and product development.
An Illinois
native, Mr. Sommer holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northern Illinois University.
He and his wife Johna, and their three children, Brayden 19, Brianna 16, and
Brooke 11, are in the process of relocating from Cary,
Illinois to Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
