specializing in complex car and truck fleets, today announced that Craig Neuber, director of strategic consulting
for ARI, was recognized as a 2012 Sustainability All-Star by Green Fleet magazine. Neuber was honored
at the Green Fleet Conference held October 2 – 3 in Schaumberg, IL.
“I would
like to congratulate Craig on this significant
honor,” said Bill Kwelty, senior vice president and Chief Quality Officer for
ARI. “His efforts to champion environmentally sound policies and practices both
within ARI and through the programs we offer our clients distinguish him as a
leader and, more important, will have a meaningful impact on the long term
health of our planet.”
This is the second annual listing of Sustainability
All-Stars by Green Fleet magazine,
which evaluated this year’s nominees on professional longevity, significant
sustainability achievements, innovation, and overall industry involvement. The
final list of All-Stars represent fleet professionals who have reduced
greenhouse gas emissions, created green fleet and sustainability policies, and
dedicated their time and energy to ensuring the path to sustainability is
clear.
Neuber is Director of Strategic Consulting for ARI. In
his more than 13 years in the fleet industry, he has developed, supported and
been intricately involved with programs that support and promote
sustainability. He conducted the rollout of ARI’s Environmental Management
System and now directs internal sustainability, waste mitigation, and energy
efficiency efforts. He also manages ARI EnviroFleet®, a broad-based environmental consulting program staffed
with specialized analysts who work with fleets to identify opportunities to reduce fuel consumption,
integrate alternative fuels, positively modify driver behavior, measure
emissions, and verify regulatory compliance, and serves
as the ARI representative for partnerships with Smartway Transport, CALSTART,
and multiple Clean Cities coalitions.
