NAFA Hosts Webinar On Right-Sizing Fleets On July 24

(PRINCETON, NJ – JULY 10, 2013) – Fleet managers everywhere have been asked to reduce the size of their fleets, go green, and cut costs.  Right-sizing just might be the answer for all three situations.  As part of its ongoing webinar series, NAFA Fleet Management Association is proud to offer Right-Sizing Your Fleet Without Feeling The Pinch: Expert Advice on Where to Cut, How to Cut, and What You’ll Save in the Process on Wednesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. (EST).  This webinar, sponsored by Agile Access Control, Inc., is provided as a free, value-added benefit to NAFA Members and NAFA Affiliates.  Registration for non-members is $25.00.

Whether your fleet has been mandated to right-size or you just want to make financially sound decisions regarding the number and mix of vehicles in your fleet, this webinar is for you. In this session, attendees will learn about the top five ingredients of a successful right-sizing initiative, including: A project champion, metrics & benchmarks, policy, a marketing plan, and the "secret ingredient." The webinar will also address the barriers to right-sizing as reported by many fleet managers.

The webinar is led by Ed Smith, President and Co-Founder of Agile Access Control, Inc. and Matt Wade, the Vice President of Agile Access Control, Inc. - both are recognized leaders in the industry.  Smith, an expert in fleet right-sizing, created and led the development of FleetCommander fleet and motor pool management software.  With the help of his team, Smith has overseen the implementation of FleetCommander technology to right-size fleets and manage the sharing of thousands of vehicles throughout the U.S., and worldwide, including vehicles in Canada, Central America, Asia, and Africa.   He specializes in the analysis of vehicle utilization data for the accurate planning and execution of right-sizing initiatives.

Matt Wade has over a decade’s worth off experience working with fleets within state and city governments as well as within the private sector.
