NASHVILLE, Tenn. – TMW Systems, Inc., the leading software provider to the transportation services industry, today named Michael J. Kelly its Director of Development for its Innovative software products. As director, Kelly will be responsible for strategic product planning, project and release management, while leading the Innovative development teams to deliver new and high-value enhancements and capabilities. TMW’s Innovative product line consists of the premise based Innovative IES® and its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) versions known as Innovative Access and Access Plus®.
Kelly brings 30 years of experience in the technology industry to this role, with experience working in Canada and the U.S. Kelly’s background in transportation includes seven years as VP Operations for TMW’s TL2000 software business and substantial operating experience as the owner of his own trucking company.
Most recently Kelly held the position of Vice President, Operations, for Tranztec Solutions, a regional provider of software and services in the Midwest. Kelly also held management positions at Whitman-Hart and senior management posts at Transportation Analysis, Inc., McCormick & Associates, Inc. and Thompson Transport, Inc., He will be based in suburban Nashville at the TMW Systems office in Brentwood, Tenn.
