CHERRY HILL, NJ, JULY 7, 2010 – NationaLease, one of the largest full service leasing companies in North America, recently honored nine NationaLease members for providing exceptional reciprocal road service throughout the past year. The awards presentation was held during the NationaLease’s Spring Maintenance Managers Meeting in Lincolnshire, IL.
The Exceptional Service Award is a peer-nominated award that recognizes members in the NationaLease network who go “above and beyond” to provide an outstanding level of reciprocal road service to their fellow NationaLease members.

The NationaLease Reciprocal Service program gives drivers peace of mind knowing that there are more than 600 NationaLease locations and more than 36,000 approved service vendors all across the United States, Canada, and Mexico should a breakdown occur. Road service for breakdowns or repairs is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year.
An example of what earned one NationaLease member the Exceptional Service Award is the assistance that Star Truck Rentals gave to a driver with Tandet NationaLease, Oakville, ON, Canada, who was involved in a major mishap in Michigan that caused considerable damage. The driver – en route from Minnesota to Ontario – was not injured, but he was stranded, with the front right wheels, rim, and axle assembly pushed back onto the rear axle and the rear axle hanger completely torn from the frame. Tandet contacted Star to assist with the complex situation, which ended with a smooth incident recovery and repair process.
