AMERIFLEET TRANSPORTATION ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF STEVE GIBSON AS VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING

Alpharetta, GA – (October, 2010) – AmeriFleet Transportation announces the appointment of Steve Gibson as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Gibson brings to AmeriFleet an extensive background in fleet operations. Prior to joining AmeriFleet, he held the position of Director of Fleet Administration at ServiceMaster, overseeing management of more than 20,000 vehicles and trailers. His responsibilities included legalization, DOT compliance, logistics, inventory and title management, remarketing and fleet operations for Terminix, TruGreen LawnCare and TruGreen LandCare. Gibson’s background also includes the position of Regional Sales Manager at Wheels, Inc. where he managed the order-to-delivery process of more than 3,000 vehicles annually. He began his career in the fleet industry as Financial Solutions Manager with GE Capital Fleet Services. “Steve is a welcome addition to our senior leadership team,” said John Norris, President, AmeriFleet Transportation. “His wealth of diverse experience in the industry will be a major contribution to our efforts in new business developments, sales, client relations and marketing.” Gibson earned an undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and is nearing completion of a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Memphis . Gibson resides in Memphis with his family and will be based in AmeriFleet’s Memphis office. He has attained Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) accreditation and is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
