LI-ION MOTORS CORP. TO EXHIBIT ZERO EMISSION, ALL ELECTRIC AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY AT EARTHDAY 2011 NEW YORK CITY APRIL 22-23, 2011

(MOORESVILLE, NC)-APRIL 14, 2011 – Li-ion Motors Corp (OTCBB: LMCO), winner of the 2010 X-Prize using 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free, all electric, high speed, long range automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium-ion battery technology, to showcase the Inizio, the world's fastest 100% electric supercar at Earth Day 2011 in New York City. The Inizio is a 100% electric supercar, capable of 170 MPH with acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 3.4 Seconds with ZERO EMISSION.  The Inizio has a 114 inch wheel-base and a 78 inch wide footprint with a 600 kw motor, equivalent to about 800 hp.  In addition to the Inizio, the WAVE II, a two seat all electric, zero emission commuter car with an impressive 202.5 MPGe, as determined by the Argonne National Lab (US Department of Energy) will also be showcased.

Earth Day in Times Square, one of the largest Earth Day events in the city, features an exhibit area dedicated to green businesses, sponsors, and speakers promoting environmental awareness. This event also includes a CO2 friendly car show at which both the Inizio and WAVE II will be showcased Friday, April 22nd, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,  along with   EarthFair Outdoors Grand Central Terminal, at Vanderbilt Avenue between 42nd and 45th Streets,  a two-day fair with art, music, educational exhibits, and activities for adults and kids. (Friday April 22nd, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 23rd, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
