CHANTILLY, VA, April 7, 2011 - Agile Access Control, Inc., creators of the FleetCommander fleet and motor pool software, today announced the roll-out of their new Risk Management module. The capability, developed with significant input from FleetCommander power-users, is being launched to the broader fleet community after more than one year of use and testing in beta environments that successfully had drivers submit more than 2,700 real-world incidents.
"The Risk Management module is being very well received," says Ed Smith of Agile Access Control, Inc. "But that's no surprise since it was designed after consulting with subject matter experts in the areas of incident management, claims processing, training, and more. It offers significant cost savings by streamlining incident reporting and claims processing. Risk managers used to maintain paper records and had limited visibility regarding accident trends, now they can get a complete view of what's happening, in real-time, using the automatically-updating Risk Management Dashboard. No more paper!"
Easy-to-use wizard walks drivers through the process of collecting information about accidents.
The module includes an easy-to-use wizard that walks drivers through the process of submitting information about an incident. Each form in the module includes drop-down menus, check-boxes, buttons, and other features to make the process straightforward while eliminating data entry errors. Drivers are reminded if key information is missing. The function allows drivers to submit digital photographs and scanned copies of accident reports, citations, receipts or other incident-related documentation.
Risk managers have an automatically-updating Risk Management dashboard that clearly shows new incident reports that require approval, a summary of the causes of accidents, accident statistics by fleet segment, and even a status of where vehicles are in the claims process. Risk managers easily track all payables and receivables associated with a claim, and can coordinate with third party administrators with just a click of the mouse. A variety of reports provide insight in to root cause of accidents. For example, a leading type of incidents during the beta period was "Backing Incidents" (reporting more than 15% of all accidents). The most frequent area of damage was rear bumper damage (at 19% of all reported damage).
The Risk Management module can be used in conjunction with FleetCommander's Asset Management, Driver Management, Motor Pool, Maintenance, Parts Inventory, Fuel Management and other modules to provide a comprehensive fleet management solution.
