(Wayne, PA –– August
29, 2011) AssetWorks, a leading provider of Fleet Management Software and
Automated Fuel Management Systems, today announced that it has signed a
contract to implement FleetFocus and FuelFocus at Richard S. Burns and Company,
Inc. in Philadelphia, PA.
Burns and Company is
Philadelphia’s only fully permitted and LEED staffed materials and waste
recycling facility. Started as a small family owned business in the
1960s, Burns and Company is now a large company with over 50 employees serving
the Delaware valley.
Prompted by the
desire to find a maintenance management system that would help them gain efficiency
and improve cost analysis, Burns and Company selected AssetWorks FleetFocus and
FuelFocus integrated fleet management software and automated fuel management
solution. The browser-based version of FleetFocus can help them track all
aspects of the maintenance of their fleet vehicles and machinery, such as
grinders and dumpsters. FuelFocus is a hardware and software solution that can
track all metered and pulsed consumables, including all types of fuel and
lubricants. When integrated with FleetFocus, data captured by FuelFocus (such
as odometer readings, hour meters, vehicle and employee information) is
validated in real time against values stored in a single, centralized database.
“We are excited to
welcome Burns and Company as a customer,” states Carl Bruce, Vice President of
Sales and Marketing for AssetWorks. “It’s exciting to partner with this company
who can use our software and hardware in innovative ways to improve their
processes which can help with the growth of their business.”
