THOMASVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 15, 2013) – Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has been named a Top 100 Trucker for 2013 by Inbound LogisticsMagazine.
Compiled by the magazine’s editors, the list serves as a guide to the top motor carriers leading the industry with cost-effective business practices, innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships with their customers.
“At Old Dominion, we’re more than just a trucking company. We’re a partner, committed to offering customized shipping solutions for each customer’s unique needs,” said David Congdon, Old Dominion’s president and CEO. “We’re honored to be included on this list and will continue to make providing premium service to all our customers our foremost priority.”
In creating the Top 100 list each year, Inbound Logistics editors select the best transportation providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting interviews, gathering online research and comparing data to the readers’ responses about motor freight and logistics challenges they face. Inbound Logistics editors selected this year’s class of Top 100 Truckers from a pool of more than 200 companies.
The service providers selected for the list are companies that, in the opinion of the magazine’s editors, offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet readers’ unique supply chain and logistics needs.
“Given today’s economic challenges, and the complexity of better matching supply to demand, it’s impressive that Old Dominion continues to provide the kinds of motor freight solutions our readers need,” said Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics. “We’re proud to recognize Old Dominion as a 2013 Top 100 Trucker.”
Old Dominion, along with the complete list of top motor carriers, was featured in the magazine’s September issue.
