First Transit to Operate Paratransit Service for the Regional Transportation Commission

CINCINNATI— First Transit, Inc., a leading private provider of transit management and contracting services, has been awarded a five-year management contract for Reno’s Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) paratransit services. First Transit will begin management of the $30.4 million contract on July 1.

Since 1978, First Transit has provided service to the residents of Reno through its fixed route services. This announcement confirms First Transit’s commitment to providing efficient and sustainable transportation services for RTC and their customers.
