SHELL SELECTS AIRBIQUITY TO CONNECT SHELL FUELSAVE PARTNER

SEATTLE, WA – May 5, 2010 – Airbiquity (www.airbiquity.com), a leading provider of connected vehicle solutions, today announced its cooperation with Shell to act as the solution integrator for the telematics element of Shell’s new fuel management solution for commercial transport fleet operators: Shell FuelSave Partner.

Airbiquity worked with Shell to develop and test key components of Shell FuelSave Partner. The new fuel management solution, which automatically links customers’ Shell fuel cards with technology installed in the vehicle and a central database, can help customers save up to 10% on fuel and better manage their fuel-related CO2 emissions. It is also one of the only fuel management systems that can automatically calculate fuel-related CO2 emissions on a per tonne-km basis.

Airbiquity’s pan-European infrastructure will support Shell FuelSave Partner as the company deploys in multiple European markets throughout 2010.
