LEASE RESCUE PROGRAM HELPS DEALERS ACQUIRE MORE AUTO INVENTORY TO SATISFY DEMAND

Allows Dealers to Buyout Remaining Lease from Consumers on Today’s Most In-Demand Vehicles

MIAMI – (June 7, 2011) – LeaseTrader.com, the most recognized name in car leasing, announces a new program to help dealers address inventory shortages on certain brands and models in the coming months. Dubbed the LeaseTrader.com Lease Rescue program, it allows dealers to buy out the remaining contracts of near-end leases from drivers interested in escaping before the lease expires.

“The Lease Rescue program will help dealers alleviate supply shortages on popular Japanese and small-vehicle models expected to be in high demand this summer,” said Sergio Stiberman, CEO and founder of LeaseTrader.com.

"With concerns still looming over vehicles that are in high-demand or low inventory, dealers will be looking for innovative ways to find additional supply that will satisfy inquiries from an increasing number of car shoppers,” said Jesse Toprak, Vice President of Industry Trends and Insight at TrueCar.com.

With a database of leasing customers throughout the country, LeaseTrader.com will invite drivers of select vehicle models experiencing supply shortages to escape their lease early by dealers interested in buying out the remaining contract. Through the Lease Rescue program, dealers will then be able to satisfy any growing waiting list of customers looking to buy or lease a used car in high demand.

--Nearly 1/3 of all vehicles in the LeaseTrader.com database have 12 months or less remaining on the contract.
--Lexus, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti comprise roughly 28 percent of this population of vehicles for LeaseTrader.com.
--Lease buyout gives drivers a chance to walk away from their contract with no harm to credit; dealers accumulate more inventory to satisfy used-car demand.
--The Lease Rescue program gives dealers an alternate channel for inventory outside traditional auctions, where competition has increased, driving up acquisition prices.

Dealers interested in learning more about the program should call Mike Press in LeaseTrader.com’s dealer department at 954-556-8825.
